On behalf of the club, we're really sry that it took so long for us to post the event articles.Even though this is the first event of the club, everyone kinda slacking off when the events are over.. =P... Well, here's a brief article on the event that day.
Event: MATLAB INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP
Time: 9.00am-11.30am

Date: 19th of April 2008
It was a pleasant day on Saturday morning, the Sun shone so brightly at the sky creating the feeling and the atmosphere of attending the 9 o’clock class, Curtin students hustle bustle to come early to the workshop to book their seat. The attendance was pretty good which all the computers were occupied by the students and some of them prefer to share with their partners. Fortunately, there were extra seats taken from other computer lab as a backup plan to overcome overcrowded to ensure every single student able to sit and enjoy the lesson in comfortably throughout the workshop.
Exactly at 8.55am, the speaker, Mr. Cheng came into the computer lab with a broad smile in his face while carrying a cute white colour shopping bag that fills with MATLAB notes. Then, he begins with short briefing about MATLAB and explained on the software interaction. The MATLAB notes would be the primary learning tools which consist of 12 exercises to be practice during the workshop. The interaction during the workshop was practicing the 2 way communications which is greatly effective in enhancing the understanding, ability to solve more problems and yet to learn more within the stipulated time.
At 11.35 sharp, before the workshop adjourn its activities, the MATLAB organising chairman presented the souvenir to Mr. Cheng to recognise his contribution, commitment and his enthusiasm of having this workshop for the students.
